Fergus learned the meaning of COLD this past weekend. In Carman, Manitoba for a training session, missmylin and Fergus endured up to -31°C weather and lots of blowing snow. Last night, there was even a snow drift blocking the motel room door!
Look at that awesome red suitcase! LOL! Fergus travels a lot because missmylin has two jobs that involve traveling across Canada. This was the first trip of 2013 – to, you guessed it, Vancouver.

Missmylin (and Fergus) spent Christmas at her cousin’s house in Calgary. They enjoyed the decorations around the house, since missmylin didn’t really put any effort into decorating her own apartment.
What the H-E-double hockey sticks is all this white stuff? It’s cold!! Fergus learned today that living in Red Deer means dealing with snow.

Fergus learned all about optometric trade shows this past weekend. Apparently it involves talking to a whole lot of people, showing off your product, standing in high heels for 4 hours, and enjoying a poutine bar for dinner.
Fergus tagged along as missmylin did a training in Ottawa this past week. He really liked these eye charts right behind the reception desk.
Fergus is trying to figure out this whole Halloween business. Being the happy-go-lucky star that he is, he’s not sure why it would be fun to scare the bejeebers out of everyone.
